R1 Fringe Clutch

This slouchy clutch is constructed from reclaimed bicycle inner tubes, transformed into a sculptural accessory through hand-cut rubber fringe. Once designed for durability and performance, the material is reimagined into a tactile, fluid silhouette that moves with the body while retaining the distinctive character of its previous life.

Designed and made in London. Each inner tube is individually sourced, cut, treated, and reconstructed by hand. The interior is fully lined in deadstock purple faux suede, offering a soft contrast to the industrial exterior. Finished with a zip closure for secure everyday use.

No two bags are identical. Variations in texture, tone, and surface markings reflect the origin of the reclaimed material and the handmade process behind every piece.
